Why a wallbox and which wallbox do I need for my vehicle?

Electric cars are currently equipped with a Type 1 or Type 2 plug on the market and, depending on the model, can be charged with either 1 or 3 phases with 16 or 32 amps (amperage).
The following variants of wallboxes are available for this:
with charging cable type 1 equipment, generally only 1-phase charging possible:

with charging cable type 2 equipment, 1- and 3-phase charging possible:
- 3.7 kW Wallbox (16-20A), single-phase
- 11 kW wallbox (16-20A), three-phase
- 22 kW wallbox (32A), three-phase
with charging socket type 2 equipment, 1- or 3-phase charging possible, independent of vehicle
- 3.7 kW Wallbox (16-20A), single-phase
- 11 kW wallbox (16-20A), three-phase
You can customize or configure our AMTRON wallboxes according to your personal requirements.
There are 6 different options to choose from:
Start: LED status display, stop button

Basic: LED status display, multifunction pushbutton, personal and power protection, calibrated digital energy meter, key switch
Xtra: LED status indicator, multifunction pushbutton, personal and power protection, calibrated digital energy meter, charge APP via LAN / WLAN
Premium: LED status display, multifunction pushbutton, personal and power protection, calibrated digital energy meter, charge APP via LAN / WLAN, RFID system
Basically, 1-phase chargeable electric cars can also be connected to 3-phase wallboxes. Since the respective car with the wallbox communicates with each other, always the weakest link decides the charging time.
